Boise State and Nike agree to six-year contract extension

Boise State and Nike have agreed to a six-year contract extension valued at an average of more than $2 million per year, Director of Athletics Curt Apsey announced Tuesday. The agreement is pending approval from the Idaho State Board of Education.

The average annual distribution in the all-sport agreement, which runs through 2024-25, nearly doubles what the Broncos received in the previous contract with Nike.

Over the course of the six-year extension, the total value of the contract is $12,160,000, including cash compensation and product for each of Boise State’s 20 varsity programs.

The Boise State football program has been in partnership with Nike since 2003, and Boise State Athletics entered into its first all-sport agreement with the brand in 2011.
