Two arrested following road rage in Caldwell

Two 18-year-old men were arrested after police said they threatened a woman with a gun and then ran from law enforcement in Caldwell.

Shortly before 5 p.m. Thursday officers responded to a report of road rage in the area of South Seventh Avenue and Grant Street.

The Idaho Press reports, the woman had reported two men in a purple passenger car who had pointed a handgun at her after a dispute in traffic. Officers located the suspected vehicle occupied by two males, parked in the area but the two fled in the car when police approached, and eventually ending in a foot chase.

Officers found a loaded handgun near where both suspects were found hiding.

The men were identified as Daniel Madrid and Jacob Sifuentes.  Both are being held in the Canyon County jail.
