Update: Rattlesnake Creek Fire

 

The Rattlesnake fire continues to be an issue north of McCall.

The Rattlesnake Creek fire started July 23 west of highway 95 on the Nez Perce-Clearwater and Payette National Forests.

A mandatory level 3 evacuation order, or “go now” was issued Thursday to residents in the Pollock area from the county line to Hillman Basin Rd, on the west side of Highway 95.

Level 2 evacuations were issued from the Boulder Creek Bridge to Smoke Boulder Road on the west side of the highway. Level 2 evacuation means be prepared to leave at a moments notice.

The Rattlesnake Fire has burned 7,449 Acres and is 31 percent contained as of this morning (Friday, 9am).
