Paulette Jordan documentary debuts in Boise

The documentary “Paulette,” about Paulette Jordan’s run for governor of Idaho, made its Boise debut on Wednesday night to an enthusiastic crowd at Boise’s Egyptian Theatre.

The short film chronicles her campaign, from preparing for and participating in her first debate against now-Gov. Brad Little, to meeting with voters and traveling the state.

The Idaho Press reports, the film culminates with election night in 2018, and deciding when it’s time to call Brad Little to concede.

The film has the production values of a major feature film; it’s been picked up by the Guardian and is being expanded into a longer version for international distribution.

After the film, the director and producer answered questions from the audience.
