Nampa Police warn of drugs being circulated

Cher Gray says her son, who she doesn’t wish to name, is one of the three overdoses connected to a blue pill that has dangerous side effects.

Nampa Police say the pill is being sold as Oxycontin, but Gray told CBS 2 News, what her son took, is far more deadly.

Cher Gray says her son took the pill, and less than an hour later, in the early hours Saturday morning, the fifteen year old stopped breathing.

The teen was rushed to a nearby hospital, eventually ending up here at St. Lukes ICU where he was revived – and is lucky to be alive today.

Gray’s son confessed, he contacted a dealer through Snapchat. She now wants other parents to be aware of the dangers of drugs that are being circulated.
