Brundage is looking to set a record – for snow!

34 inches of fresh snow has dumped on Brundage Mountain’s base breaking records for the ski resort this February.

Snow since Friday night covered the central mountains and brought the total snowfall for the month of February to over 132 inches, more than three times the monthly average.

CBS 2 News reports, Brundage snowfall is measured from late October through closing day, which is usually in mid- to late-April. The current record of 428” of season snowfall was set in 2007-2008.

More snow is expected for the area surrounding Brundage Mountain again today, with another 3-5 inches or more possible.
