Winter has finally arrived!

We are expecting some periods of snow to impact much of the region over the next 4-5 days. However, the Ice won’t be melting, as highs are going to remain in the 30’s.

The mountains will continue to get pounded with snow with feet of additional accumulations expected this week. Here in the valley, we’ll see a couple of inches here and there. As a result, the snowpack levels are rising quickly. That is good news for local farmers, and everyone else who irrigates.

Look a occasional pockets of snow thru Monday. Another steadier band of snow will arrive late Monday and early Tuesday. This will be followed by on again, off again snow showers that will stick around through at least Thursday.
