Former Idaho Democratic gubernatorial nominee Paulette Jordan is running for Senate in Idaho.

Jordan will be taking on incumbent Republican Sen. Jim Risch – as well as several others who are already in the race.

Jordan is a Native American woman who – when she ran for Governor – supported legalizing marijuana and has been a forceful advocate for LGBTQ and women’s reproductive rights, among other issues.

Asked by the Huffington Post how she thinks she can unseat Risch, Jordan said he’s vulnerable because he’s out of touch with Idahoans on priority issues like affordable health care, a good education and protecting public lands.
