Ada County warns marriage licenses may not be available after Friday

Ada County residents who intend to get married before May 31st are advised to obtain a marriage license from the Ada County Clerk’s Office by 4:30 p.m. on March 27th.

Due to COVID-19 mitigation efforts, public access to the Ada County Courthouse has been limited. As the situation continues to evolve, it is likely that there will be further restrictions on courthouse access.

There is a potential that marriage licenses may be unavailable for an indefinite period. To avoid any issues obtaining a marriage license before your planned wedding date, please visit our office as soon as possible before March 27.
