6.5 magnitude Earthquake hits Idaho

 

Just before 6 p.m. Tuesday, the Treasure Valley was rattled by an earthquake, according to the USGS.

The shaking lasted for 20-30 seconds.

USGS pegged the earthquake at 6.5 magnitude with an epicenter in the mountains northwest of Stanley.​

A pair of aftershock were also recorded…
