BLM honors fallen airtanker pilot Ricky Fulton

The Bureau of Land Management’s national Fire and Aviation Honor Guard escorted fallen airtanker pilot Ricky Fulton from Emmett to the Boise Airport today. (Monday, September 28, 2020)

Fulton is being flown to his family in Oklahoma after being killed in an aviation accident south of Emmett while fighting a wildland fire.

This morning, airtanker pilot Fulton was escorted from the funeral home in Emmett to the Boise Airport.

CBS 2 News reports, cordon of honor, comprising BLM employees and members of area firefighting agencies and organizations, recognized Ricky Fulton and his family prior to their departure.
