Idaho gas prices are around 19 cents higher than the national average.
According to AAA, as of Sunday, the national average is about $2.17 while Idaho’s average is around $2.36.
A year ago Sunday, Idaho’s average was $2.84 meaning Idaho’s gas prices have dropped 48 cents.
AAA says nationally, gas demand has dropped, causing a decline in the national average.
CBS 2 News reports, prices will likely continue to decline as demand drops due to people taking fewer road trips in the fall.
