Summer in Boise is going to look a lot more like summer thanks to some fireworks in the nighttime sky.

Boise mayor Lauren McLean says fireworks will be returning to Ann Morrison Park on July 4. The show will begin at dusk.

CBS2 reports there will be some changes this year thanks to the pandemic, including no food or beverage vendors, however, families are welcome to bring their own food and drinks.

The city is also asking that people stay separated from other families that aren’t theirs.

The city is working on a plan for the big event to keep everyone safe.
