Red Flag Warning issued for several areas of Idaho

Toasty temperatures, dry conditions, and smoky skies are expected to continue throughout the week.

Our official air quality over the weekend was ‘Moderate’ to ‘Unhealthy for Some’ and we expect more of the same this week.

There is a Red Flag Warning issued for areas over Payette, Boise, and Western Sawtooth National Forest. A Red Flag Warning means critical fire weather conditions are present.

Temperatures will remain hot this week, with highs in the upper 90’s in the Treasure Valley, and mid to upper 80’s in the mountain valleys..

We could also see scattered afternoon showers and thunderstorms through Wednesday.
