Sometimes – people have stuff stored away – and are just waiting for a good opportunity to get rid of it… Well, this might be your big chance.

Canyon County residents will be able to drop off household hazardous and electronic waste for free this Saturday at the Ford Idaho Center parking lot from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

No biological or radiological waste, explosives, ammunition or prescription drugs will be accepted.

The types of waste and e-waste that will be accepted include cleaning products, indoor pesticides, automotive products, workshop and painting supplies and lawn and garden products.

Other waste types include household batteries and fluorescent light bulbs, other flammable products and electronic waste.
