Ross Fork Fire forces new mandatory evacuations

More mandatory evacuation orders have been put in place from the Ross Fork Fire for residents on both Pettit Lake Road and Cabin Creek Road.

As of last night, the Ross ForkFire has chared over 28,000 acres and is only 2% contained.

Blaine County Sheriff’s Office announced the level 3 mandatory evacuations for those in the area, residents are told to leave immediately.

Mandatory evacuations remain in place for residents in Smiley Creek, Sawtooth City, Beaver Creek and Alturas Lake.
