During the thrilling Cracker Barrel 400 race at Nashville Superspeedway on Sunday (June 1), country superstar Morgan Wallen connected with NASCAR legend Richard Petty. Wallen and Petty shared a jovial moment together that The King later shared on Instagram, with the racing icon captioning his post, “Only in Nashville.” This meetup comes just two weeks after Wallen released his chart-topping album, I’m the Problem, which includes a new Post Malone collaboration, “I Ain’t Coming Back,” that references Petty in the lyrics. “But the night I said, ‘I’m leavin’’, I turned into Richard Petty / Broke my heart, so I got even in my ’97 Chevy,” the duo sing together on the track. Elsewhere at the event, Wallen hung out with his friend and frequent collaborator ERNEST, who served as the Grand Marshall of the race and performed at the speedway earlier in the day. (Holler)
