As holiday travel season approaches, ConsumerAffairs wanted to know which states have the worst roads to drive through, and Idaho is one of the best.
Idaho ranks in the top 10 for best road conditions.
ConsumerAffairs calculated how much each state spends per mile of road, looked at the number of motor crash fatalities in each state, factored in the percentage of total capital spending toward roadway expansion and repair and surveyed people about road conditions near them.
The report named Wyoming as the state with the best roads in the U.S., followed by Kansas. Idaho was ranked #10 overall.
The same report says South Carolina has the worst roads in the U.S.
