Ten car crash blocks I-84 during Thursday afternoon commute

 

A ten-car crash completely blocked Interstate 84 in Boise for 17 minutes. It took crews a couple of hours to get everything cleared up.

Idaho State Police report, at 4:18 p.m. Brigham Anderson from Meridian, was driving west at the Maple Grove Underpass when he left his lane and struck nine other vehicles and drivers.

Fortunately, seatbelts were worn by all drivers.

Anderson and another driver were taken to a local hospital in Boise but are recovering.

ISP reports they are investigating the the crash, but have not reported a cause at this point.
