Canyon County Free Waste Disposal Even is Wednesday

Nampa (670 KBOI News) – So…you finally got the garage and shed cleaned out, and now you’re left with a pile of stuff that needs to be disposed of.

If you’re a resident of Canyon County, you can take it to the Idaho Center parking lot Wednesday, and get rid of it for free.

The County will be collecting waste from 10 am ’til 4 pm. They’ll take cleaning products, indoor pesticides, Automotive products, painting supplies, lawn and garden products, fluorescent lights, flammables — like propane tanks, kerosene, home heating oil, and lighter fluid — and electronics.

Some things they won’t take, including explosives, ammo, and biological and radiological waste.

If you have questions, call the Pickles Butte landfill at (208) 466-7288.
