Recount Today For Ada County Highway District Zone 2

Ada County Clerk Phil McGrane issued an order for a recount of the ballots in Ada County Highway District (ACHD), Zone 2 race.

Candidate Rebecca Arnold requested the recount, which is set to happen today.

The race outcome had a difference of just TWO VOTES favoring Alexis Pickering over Arnold, which is within the threshold of less than point one percent (0.1%) for a free recount under Idaho statute.

The Ada County Prosecuting Attorney will serve as the final authority in the recount and will announce the results.

You are allowed to observe the recount on the Ada County Elections website camera feed or from the observation room at Ada County Elections Office.
