Former Boise State Coach Builds Staff at Auburn

Former Boise State head football coach Bryan Harsin is putting together his staff at Auburn and he is taking some familiar names with him.

Boise State defensive coordinator Jeff Schmedding, who has worked under Harsin the past two seasons, will be joining the staff to coach linebackers and likely will be co-defensive coordinator.

Boise State’s Interim Head Coach Spencer Danielson was announced as one of the coaches that would be joining Harsin at Auburn – but he has not been announced in any particular role yet.

Auburn also named former Colorado State Coach – Mike Bobo and former Vanderbilt head coach Derek Mason as the team’s new offensive and defensive coordinators on Thursday.

Harsin was 69-19 with three Mountain West titles in seven seasons at Boise State.
