ISP makes drug bust in Bonneville County

An Idaho Falls man was arrested for trafficking meth with the intent to deliver fentanyl.

Idaho State Police say a trooper tried to stop a motorcycle for speeding in Bonneville County.

The motorcyclist failed to stop and tried to speed away from the officer. The driver lost control and crashed the bike, and was eventually taken to a local hospital for treatment.

During the investigation, troopers received consent to search the driver’s backpack and found a plastic bag full of methamphetamine. Police also found a variety of marijuana products and more than 370 fentanyl pills.

Police then arrested Aaron Wadsworth of Idaho Falls and he was booked into the Bonneville County Jail on a number of felony drug charges.
