The city of Boise is laying out the road map for events in the City of Trees to make a return.
For individuals or groups hoping to host an event with 50 people or more, they will first need to submit a health and safety plan at Central District Health.
CBS 2 News reports, once a plan is OK’d by the health district and no other permits are required from the city, an event can move forward. If an event hasn’t been approved by Central District, the organizer could be in violation.
Boise Mayor Lauren McLean says she is excited to offer a path for people to return safely to the events we’ve missed over the last year. She also says as we begin to return to normal, we must all stay vigilant to ensure we don’t lose the gains we’ve made over the last few months.
Social distancing and face coverings will continue to be required at these events.
