Maren Morris Shares That She Wants to be Wicked and Kristin Chenoweth Offers to Help

You know the old saying – to make it on Broadway, all you need is a tweet and dream.

Actually…no one says that.

But maybe it just might work for Maren Morris who offered up on Twitter “Gonna send an audition tape in for Wicked on Broadway. What the hell. Let’s see what happens.”

Well, what happens next is Broadway actress and Wicked star Kristin Chenoweth responds with “You could play either part. Call me and let’s chat. Come on baby. I got you. And you got the chops.”

Maren then answer Kristin with “You inspired me to try”

We’ll have to wait to pull back the curtain to see what happens next on Maren’s trip to the Merry Old Land of Oz.

Until then, fans can still follow the yellow brick road to hear Maren Morris’ current single at country radio, “Circles Around This Town”
